Sam is an established London based portrait photographer, recognised for her location and studio work. Her early commissions were music portraits for magazines such as the NME, and press photographs of up and coming bands for Universal and other record companies. Now she is a regular contributor for the Observer magazine and has worked for the Guardian, BBC Picture Publicity and You magazine, to name a few. For the past decade Sam has photographed the good, the great, and, occasionally, the unwashed. She is as happy taking pictures of seasoned thespians as rising rock stars and finds that Margate landladies and Soho cafe owners can be equally as rewarding.
